BB cream, also known as Blemish Balm or Blemish Base, is a cosmetic item sold in Korea.

BB cream started out as a therapeutic moisturizer in Germany used to treat the irritated skin of the patients who went under peeling, laser, or microdermabrasion.

There are several BB Cream brands such as HANSKIN,Skin79, Skinfood, BRTC, Missha, Dr Jart but all products have slight differences in properties, ingredients, smell, texture and oil control.

General BB Cream characteristics:

• Natural glow on your face without makeup look
• Provides perfect coverage just like a foundation but without clogging pores or damaging the skin
• Conceals all types of pigmentation, discoloration, acne and marks
• Healing properties which soften, smoothen and refine skin
• Encourages skin regeneration to create and maintain youthful skin
• UV Protection for healthy skin
• Some BB creams have additional features such as wrinkle improvement, whitening functions etc.

How to choose a BB cream

1. Identify your skin tone (very fair, fair, normal or dark?) and skin type (normal, dry or oily?)
2. Now, ask yourself what are your needs. For example: acne reduction? brightening? sunblock? stronger oil control? caricaturisation? more coverage? etc.

Skin 79 - REAL vs. FAKE BB Cream

There are fake Skin79 bb cream that is being distributed now in Taiwan at a very very low price. It is being manufactured in China.

If we purchase a fake BB cream, how sure are we that it has the same quality similar to the genuine ones??? Are you willing to put your SKIN at risk for the small difference in price????

We would like to advise our customers not to be tricked by fake products in the market. Our products are genuine and it only cost abit more. So why take the risk? Support and insist only on authentic bb creams from Korea!
